We are grateful for your vigilance on our behalf
When I read these alerts of crimes in our neighborhood it occurs to me that you are out there on the street putting yourself at risk every day...ready to place yourself between them and us. We have had our differences in the neigborhood. But the bottom line is that we need you and we don't tell you often enough that we realize the danger you are in everyday and we are grateful. I saw you at the bank the other day and I almost said, "Hi Arthur." I stopped myself realizing that by being so personal it would have seemed disrespectful. But it wasn't in fact. I thought about it as I was driving home and it was because it feels like you are one of us. Thanks Arthur...Officer Gallegos.
