800 N. block of Edinburgh Ave. – Between 9:30AM and 11:00PM, an unknown suspect broke into an apartment using an unknown tool to unlock the residence, stole money and camera equipment, and fled the property in an unknown direction.
Near the corner of Spaulding Ave. & Melrose Ave. – At 4:00PM, a suspect entered a clothing store with intent to steal property. After taking computer equipment, the suspect exited the store, and a physical altercation took place between the victim and the suspect. The suspect, described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes, 6’2”, 180 lbs, and 34 years old, was taken into custody.
Near the corner of Gardner Ave. & Melrose Ave. – At 6:15PM, two suspects walked up to a woman on the street and demanded her purse and cell phone. When the victim refused, suspect #1 pointed a handgun at her head and said “give me everything or I will kill you”, and suspect #2 choked the victim. After taking her cell phone and purse, including her wallet, the suspects fled in a vehicle. Suspect #1 is describes as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes, 5’4”, 130 lbs, and between 20 – 25 years old. Suspect #2 is described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes 5’6”, 130 lbs, and between 20 – 25 years old. The vehicle is described as a 4-door black Toyota.

The first suspect is described as an Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes, 5’10” tall, 170 lbs., and between the age of 20 – 30 years old. The second suspect is described as a White female, 5’0” tall, 110 lbs., and 22 years old.
