Word is that the old Louise's Restaurant space at Gardner and Melrose is already undergoing renovations and will reopen towards the beginning of the new year (2010) as a Sport's Bar.

The "Sports Bar" is apparently being run by the owner(s) of a Los Feliz eatery/bar called 1739 Pubic House which is co-owned by Franck Alix and Jessie Singh. Not sure if both are involved in this new endeavor.
